Katy Hennen began the 2024-2025 school year as the preschool teacher at Trinity. She grew up in Illinois attending Trinity Lutheran School and Illinois Lutheran High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Wisconsin Lutheran College. After college she married her husband Jamie and stayed home to raise their children. Upon reentering the workforce she taught children from age 2 ½ to school age for about 15 years at St. Paul’s in Slinger.

She and her husband reside in Slinger with their two dogs. They love to spend time with their 2 sons, one daughter, new daughter-in-law, and granddog. Katy loves reading, hiking, spending time at their lake home, and following her kids’ activities.

Her favorite Bible verse is Matthew 28:20 – “Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
