Charlie grew up in a Lutheran church in Menomonee Falls, where she attended both church and school through eighth grade. After graduating from West Bend High School, she pursued her passion for hair and became a hairstylist.

She met her husband when she was 16 while working together at Piggly Wiggly. She began attending Trinity, where he grew up, and surprised him by becoming a member. Over the years, she’s become increasingly involved, and she’s excited to now serve as the Youth and Young Adult Ministry Coordinator.

Some of her favorite memories from middle and high school are attending youth nights, lock-ins, and other church events. Those experiences helped build friendships that she still cherishes today, and she hopes to create that same sense of community at Trinity. Her biggest goal is for every young person to feel welcomed, valued, and to grow in their relationship with God through His Word.

She and her husband have a spirited one-year-old daughter, and their free time is usually spent with their families (between them they we have 14 nieces and nephews, with two more on the way!), relaxing by the pool, or attempting to finish one of many craft projects.
